Grasso/GEA/Baltimore / Used Industrial NH3/CO2 Cooling Plant/Frozen Storage Installation
Grasso / GEA / Baltimore. This fine and very well maintained cooling/freezing installation with a capacity of 560 kW (840 kW with 3 compressors) -6°C/CO2 and 150 kW -33°C/CO2is composed of the following main components:
3 pieces NH3 Grasso/GEA direct driven piston compressors type V 600 of which 1 stand-by, each equipped with ABB 100kW E-motor frequency-controlled, latest GEA controller. Capacity each compressor is 365kW at -8°C/+32°C with an absorbed power 79kW.
2 pieces Baltimore hybrid evaporating condensers type CXVE 151 0809-10L. Capacity each condenser is 547kW at wet bulb temp. of +21°C and condensation temp. of +32°C.
Hansen Air Purger.
Horizontal -10°C NH3 separator, internally connected to the cascade CO2 condenser with natural CO2circulation -6°C.
Horizontal -6°C CO2 liquid separator complete with 2 pieces hermetic CO2 liquid pumps.
Oil equalizer tank (collection system) connected to the NH3 separator with automatic return system.
-33°C CO2 frozen storage plants 150 kW with 3 pieces Dorin CO2 piston compressor -33°C/-6°C.
10 pieces Coolers and Condensers evaporators type pump circulation CO2, equipped with 3 pieces ventilators (3 x 0,39kW), hot glycol defrosting. Capacity is 33 kW at evaporating temp. of -4°C at air inlet temp. of +2°C.
6 pieces Coolers and Condensers evaporators type pump circulation CO2, equipped with 2 pieces ventilators (2 x 1,77kW), hot glycol defrosting. Capacity is 38 kW at evaporating temp. of -4°C at air inlet temp. of +2°C.
4 pieces Coolers and Condensers evaporators type pump DX CO2, equipped with 2 pieces ventilators (2 x 0,6kW), electric defrosting. Capacity is 17,5 kW at evaporating temp. of -31°C at air inlet temp. of -25°C.
Switchboard cabinet with Siemens S7/Simatic touchscreen, Danfoss frequency controller for the 3 pieces Grasso/GEA compressors and the fans of the Baltimore condensers.
