The Summit 1800 represents the next logical step in Surface
Mount Rework technology.
It incorporates not only the well established
features and benefits, common to all the Summit systems
but introduces state-of the-art innovations to deal with
the latest industry advancements including
Lead Free capability.
The well established unique features such as
Advanced Auto
Profile, Programmable Pick and Place Force with
Component
Height Sensing, Independent Top Heater and Pick-up Tube,
Proprietary Split Imaging together with
Precision Placement capability,
Optical/Digital Zoom and Automated Data/Event Logging
continue to satisfy the demanding requirements of
the Electronics
Assembly industry. However, larger and more complex components plus bigger PCBs require even greater functionality.
The Summit 1800’s upgraded Optics and
Thermal capabilities satisfy these demands.
A variety of optional features such as High Power (2.4 kW)
Top Heater, Solder Scavenging with
Programmable Motorized X-Y
Table, 22” x 30” Board handling and 5.6 kW Bottom Heater are
available to handle more challenging applications.
