Grasso/GEA industrial water-cooled water chiller is equipped with the following main components: on frame built 1 piece Grasso 612-E piston compressor, year of manufacture 2004 with 200kW direct driven E-motor, brand of Schorch, 1480 RPM and 1 piece Grasso V1400 piston compressor, year of manufacture 2014 with 250kW direct driven E-motor, brand of WEG, controlled by a frequency controller up to a maximum speed of 1200 RPM. Furthermore, this good and well maintained chiller package equipped with GEA plate cooler/exchanger coupled to a separator for natural ammonia circulation, water-cooled condenser. In the pressure line of the compressors a heat exchanger for hot water supply (heat recovery), all associated water pumps, brand Gründfoss, switch-board cabinets with Siemens S7 / touchscreen PLC, all required certificates. Note: In 2014, this chiller had a major maintenance and the existed RC 4-12 Grasso compressor has been replaced by a Grasso/GEA V1400 package with a maximum cooling capacity of 1123kW at an evaporation temperature of 0°C and a condensing temperature of +35°C on 1200RPM and it can be extended to a cooling capacity of 1867kW.
