Depending on the type of stock, consistency and deflaker fillings, this small deflaker achieves a flow rate of up to 2000 l/min
Even stock consistencies of up to 6% are possible with the right filling.

2 units available:
One deflaker has a housing made entirely of stainless steel.
The second Voith 1E has a plated case.

Double-disk deflakers are used for deflaking cellulose and semi-pulp before refining as well as for deflaking machine rejects and waste paper of all kinds.
The fibrous material flowing into the center of the machine is distributed evenly on both sides of the rotor discs through the holes in the deflaker discs. On the way to the edge of the pane, it is deflaked gently without damaging the fibers by violent acceleration and deceleration processes as well as by internal friction.
This gentle treatment is achieved by a special feature of the Voith deflakers: the perforated deflaker discs.
The holes in the discs generate high-frequency pressure pulsations, which open up the fiber tufts without any mechanical damage worth mentioning.
- All inner parts of the housing that come into contact with the substance are made of acid-resistant material
- Easily replaceable, wear-resistant deflaker discs made of special steel
- Hardened discs, therefore insensitive to foreign objects
- Problem-free reworking of worn discs by simply grinding them flat (not possible with toothed set!)
