ZEISS OPMI Visu 200 Surgical Microscope
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
The Zeiss OPMI Visu 200 is a surgical microscope developed by Carl Zeiss Meditec.
It is designed for the field of Ophthalmology, specifically
for procedures such as Cataract and Vitreo-Retinal surgeries.
It combines the time-tested Carl Zeiss optical system with the ergonomic
and innovative features of the Visu 200 to deliver crisp, clear,
and high-resolution images in a manner that is safe and comfortable
for the surgeon and the patient.
The Zeiss surgical microscope is equipped with a 0 to 180 degree inclinable binocular,
an adjustable illumination system using a 100-watt halogen with automatic focus,
and a versatile objective lens.
These features ensure that the optimum illumination can be delivered
to a specific area.
Combined with the improved reach and maneuverability of the whole system,
the surgical microscope can deliver the razor-sharp images expected
from a medical device bearing the Zeiss optical system.
The Visu 200 is equipped with a waterproof footswitch that is adapted
for electrically controlling a number of motorized functions of the microscope.
The motorized adjustment for the zoom and focus functions allows
for a smooth change in the setting of the magnification changer which,
in turn, enhances the quality of the image.
The operating microscope is compatible with the S8 electromagnetic floor stand
that allows the system to be easily moved across the surgical field.
The settings for brightness, magnification, and the motor speed
of the S8 floor stand can also be configured for up to nine different users.
The razor-sharp images, the enhanced positioning capability,
and the ergonomically designed floor stand are designed
to improve the surgical workflow and provide the surgeons
with optimum comfort while performing surgeries.
