The Waters 2996 PDA Detector ( Photodiode Array Detector )
incorporates uniquely-integrated software and optics innovations
that deliver no-compromise chromatographic and spectral sensitivity,
reliability and ease of use for analytical and preparative separations.

Advanced spectral analysis enhances component recognition and homogeneity assessment.
The Waters® 2996 PDA Detector can be used for in-vitro diagnostic testing to analyze many compounds,
including diagnostic indicators and therapeutically monitored compounds.
When you develop methods, follow the “Protocol for the Adoption of Analytical Methods in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory,”
American Journal of Medical Technology, 44, 1, pages 30–37 (1978).

This protocol covers good operating procedures and techniques necessary to validate system
and method performance.
