With the Bucher press, you can automatically link
the 4 phases of a complete cycle: filling, pressing,
emptying, washing.

The press adds to the important "drainage" function,
particularly useful for fresh grapes, pumped over,
crushed, destemmed (harvest)...
In addition, they are equipped with automatic filling:
only one loading point and automatic division
of the grapes in the cage.
With fresh, crushed or destemmed grapes,
more than 75% must can be obtained with just the filling action.
They mainly consist of a slightly inclined cylindrical
cage (made of laminated polyester resin and fiberglass),
in which two plates move on a central screw.
Depending on the direction of cage rotation,
the plates move closer (compression)
or move apart (decompression).
Depending on the type of grape,
3 or 6 compressions will be performed,
spaced by decompressions, in order to obtain
the desired exhaustion. To facilitate access to the cage,
the side protective panels can be folded down.
