Topcon SL-7E
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
The Topcon SL-7E slit lamp is designed for ultra-smooth, precise control. Slit lamp utility is dependent to a great degree on the ease and precision of positioning.
Even the finest optics and illumination must be supported by a movement system that allows the operator to quickly and smoothly maneuver the unit to the correct observation position, and to accomplish extremely fine control over movements in all three dimensions.
The photo capture trigger is built into the joystick, to make it easy to obtain photos without tiring either the patient or the operator. Additional design considerations in the SL-7E include a basic observational axis at a point 375mm above the table surface, and a working distance to the eye of 290mm for optimal gonioscopy, funduscopy and contact lens work.
Versatile slit adjustment The SL-7E allows continuous adjustment of the vertical slit image (N.A.0.01 0.06). Smaller slit values provide increased depth-of-focus for improved observation of fine detail.
Flexible illumination effects The SL-7E can provide background illumination for extremely detailed photography of peripheral areas, as well as diffused illumination for natural, fine detail reproduction of the anterior segment.
Four built-in filters Select any of the four filters built into the SL-7E through a convenient knob on the illumination column.
Filtration choices include: cobalt blue, red-free, 13% neutral density and heat absorption is built in.
Digital imaging system The SL-7E is capable of inputting images and data into the Topcon IMAGEnet™ 2000 System for versatile diagnostic processing and interpretation.
Resultant digital imagery for data can also be very useful in research and education applications.
IMAGEnet™ 2000 System is a full function, state-of-the-art digital imaging system for faster, more efficient acquisition, storage, retrieval and analysis of all types of ophthalmic images.
