The self-propelled ladder TG-2244 has been specially designed to carry out the loading/offl oading
of aircraft passengers; the vehicle’s threshold in the loading/offl oading doors is a height above ground of between 2.20 m (86.6”) and 4.40 m (173.2”).
The ladder is a compact self-propelled vehicle comprising a frame with two fl ights of steps,
one fi xed and the other mobile, which slides telescopically over the fi xed fl ight propelled by a hydraulic cylinder.
In the upper part of the mobile fl ight there is a platform with tip-up front to adapt it to the aircraft’s profi le on the loading/offl oading door’s lower threshold.
On each side of the platform there is an ear which is automatically adjusted to fi t over the sides of the aircraft’s door.
The loading/offl oading platform can be situated at a height of between 2.20 m (86.6”), in its lowa height
of between 2.20 m (86.6”), in its lowest position, and 4.40 m (173.2”), in its highest est position, and 4.40 m (173.2”), in its highest position.
