The KSF-2/E-4 cross bar milling machine is equipped with a convenient, menu-driven computer control.
After entering the programs, cross bar connections for windows, doors, furniture,
partition walls, radiator covers, etc. can be realized with minimal setup and operating time.
The cross bar milling is computer-controlled with 3 special milling cutters that run and move simultaneously.
An additional milling unit mills the change groove from the front.
The corresponding distances can be stored in programs.
The workpieces are fed in automatically.

The milling is carried out by an upper and lower milling unit, and the flattening by a third milling unit in one operation.
The feed rate of the milling group is infinitely adjustable.
The entire milling group moves into the clamped, stationary workpiece.
The height of the upper and lower tool sets can be adjusted individually.
This means that the machine can be converted to a different wood thickness very quickly.
The tools are driven by two three-phase motors, each with 1.1 kW.
The distances between the desired millings and their number are entered into the positioning control and saved.
The total number of workpieces to be processed is also typed in.
Programming the positioning control is possible without any special knowledge.

Item 3: Length detection
The length of the part that is pushed in for processing from the NC stop is determined by a sensor.
How it works:
When the workpiece passes the sensor, it sends a signal to the control.
At this moment, the control looks at the position of the NC stop and can determine the length of the part there
Item 4: 4th milling unit
This additional grooving unit makes it possible to machine vertical and horizontal rungs without turning them by 180°.
This ensures that the visible side can be milled completely tear-free.
