Santinelli Nidek ME-1200 PLB8 Rimless Edger
The new ME-1200 Multifunction Lens Edger
introduces additional high-tech functions in
a smaller, more compact footprint.
The ME-1200 has the most advanced
auto-control processing system with
an exceptionally rigid,
vibration-free direct linear drive lens carriage.
With a built-in ability to measure lens volume,
it provides the most suitable condition for
lens processing, while calculating lens grinding torque.
The ME-1200 has all of the state-of
-the-art design functions that were incorporated in
the previous model.
Yet ease-of-use and display contrast are superior with
the ME-1200’s newly designed LCD touch screen.
Electronic Estimate System (EES)
A newly designed Electronic Estimate System (EES) is
incorporated into the ME-1200.
This system provides information of
lens measurement, estimation of lens processing time,
and automatically controls the selection of
lens processing methods.
Normal lens processing time is reduced by
20% compared to previous models,
and with the EES mode, processing time is
reduced by 30%.
With EES mode, super hydrophobic coated lenses can
be edged without the axis shift.

ICE-1000 Blocker
The Ice1000 is a highest-class automatic blocker ever.
In addition to its blocking functions it can also read the outline
shape of a demo lens for rimless drill mounts,
create a hole position, edit shapes and manage data.
The Ice1000 can do everything necessary for
processing a lens.
It works in perfect combination with
the Nidek lens edger families, Lex1000,
ME-1000 and ME-1000 DESIGN+.
Measurement accuracy is at its highest level with
the newly designed optical systems ofthe latest technology. Lenses with weak power can be
measured properly and progressive
lenses can be detected automatically.
Errors caused by prismatic effect are eliminated.
The Ice1000 accurately and automatically reads the
outline shape of a demo lens.
Hole positions are set on the touch panel using a demo lens. Setting
hole positions is easy, as images are enlarged on the display.
The Ice1000 has an array of editing functions that
can support ME-1000
DESIGN+ complex operations such as hole creation,
Advanced Shape Editor, Design Cut, Partial Grooving and Facet.
It is well suited for managing the edited data for
processing on the ME-1000
DESIGN+. Thumbnail images are shown in the data management display
which is helpful when searching for missing data.
