Samsung Ceretom NT3000
EUROPE (Western and Northern)
HUMAN AND VETERINARY USE (small animals)
1/ HUMAN USE
The CereTom® is an 8-slice mobile scanner that
enables high-quality examinations
(with or without injection, CTA, etc.) to be carried out in a
wide range of locations. The combination of its scanning speed,
intuitive user interface and real-time image display make the
CereTom® an indispensable tool for
any clinician requiring high-quality images at the point of care.
Workstation
The CereTom® workstation features advanced 2D, 3D and
MPR viewing software. It also produces DICOM
3.1-compatible images, and incorporates a
worklist module for easy integration with the facility's PACS.
The CereTom® is equipped with a radiolucent tablet and
bed-mounting system, enabling head and neck scans to be
performed on any medical bed. This means that patients can
be cared for directly in their own rooms, and do not need to
be transferred to the imaging department for
their examination.
CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
- Intensive care
CereTom® improves the safety and efficiency of patient care. Critical, intubated and ventilated patients in
intensive care units no longer have to be moved to
the imaging department for a head and neck scan.
- Operating theatres
The CereTom® provides fast, high-quality intraoperative images
in the operating room for a variety of neurosurgical operations.
Its 32-cm tunnel allows the patient to be scanned during the
operation with a radiolucent external fixator.
Coupled with a neuronavigation station, it makes the
surgeon's work easier and safer.
- Clinical applications
With CereTom®, patients can benefit from a CT scan in
the medical consultation room, facilitating the
patient's journey through the hospital.
Appointment times for imaging examinations are reduced.
- Emergencies
Rapid referral and management of patients with
acute neurological symptoms are key elements of
emergency care.
CereTom® is a complete scanner for neurological emergencies,
including stroke, hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury.
- Ambulances
CereTom® can be installed in an emergency vehicle to
perform brain imaging directly at the point of care of a
suspected stroke patient.
In this way, CereTom® reduces the time taken to diagnose and
treat a patient, thereby reducing the risk of
disability resulting from a stroke.
2/ VETERINARY USE
- The CereTom® is a small-caliber, portable 8-slice CT Scanner
that provides non-contrast perfusion, angiography and
contrast analyses of the highest quality.
- Its combination of fast scan time, easy-to-use interface and
immediate image visualization makes CereTom an indispensable tool for any veterinarian in need of high-quality,
real-time images and cost-effective CT imaging.
- Images are DICOM 3.1 compliant, with a worklist modality
module for seamless integration with PACS.
A radiolucent carbon fiber table is available,
designed to position the veterinary patient correctly in
the bore. This table can support weights of up to 75 kg.
- The CereTom has a small footprint for easy storage when not
in use. There's no need for a specially designed room or
electrical upgrade. The CereTom goes where it's needed in
the hospital - operating room, emergency room floor,
intensive care unit - wherever you need analysis.
When a patient is too unstable to move, the CereTom will
go to the veterinary patient.
