When you want to upgrade your radios, one of the common barriers is the cost and hassle of installation. Wouldn't it be great to just slide a replacement right into the existing rack? It is not easy to improve a legend like the King KX-170B, but McCoy did just that with the MAC-1700. They wisely left the solid internals alone, which means that almost any shop can work on them. The MAC-1700 has modern convenience, but preserves the reliability of the original KX-170B. The rest of your avionics will neither know nor care that your KX-170B or KX-175B NAV/COMM has been upgraded. The MAC-1700 features:

Digital tuning
Active / standby frequency display
Push button frequency flip-flop
Memory channels (10 each for the NAV and COMM sides)
720 COMM channels
200 NAV channels
7 watts minimum power
