The values of the auto-refractometer and frontofocometer are sent to the Glasspop Kiosk, and the patient now conducts his or her own eye examination using the joystick and button control module, which records and validates the patient's responses.
At the start of the examination, the patient receives visual and vocal instructions on the tablet media and then directly in the NIDEK TS-610 device. Depending on the patient's responses, the tests are displayed in different ways, and are automatically sequenced in the device until a correction is obtained and a suitable visual prescription is proposed.
