OPERATION:
Sugar in the hopper is loosened automatically by an agitator
and fed through the elevating feed conveyor
up to the sugar infeed chute where it enters the stationary drum.
The sugar coats the product through a perforated,
rotating inner drum as the donuts move through the sugar zone
in a gentle turning, tumbling motion to the discharge conveyor.
Loose sugar is continuously agitated and carried through
the machine while the unused sugar is automatically recaptured
and returned to the hopper via the sugar discharge chute,
reducing waste.

FEATURES:
Capable of running 10,000 to 30,000 doughnuts an hour per manufacturer literature.
Able to handle coarse to fine granulations of sugar.
23 inch diameter by 72 inch long reel with 1/2 inch by 7/8 inch oval perforations.
Top inspection door.
24.75 inch wide by 23 inch long discharge chute with 8 inch long rod area.
Rods have 3/16 inch openings.
Slide-out catch pan under the rod area.
18.5 inch inch discharge height.
Bottom/ bulk sugar hopper measures 21 inch by 49 inch long with paddle agitator - hopper tapers to a bottom feed auger which feeds a cleated elevating belt conveyor.
Cleanout door under the feed auger.
5.5 inch wide rubber elevating belt with 1 inch high cleats on 6 inch centers.
Variable speed drive powers agitator, bottom feed auger and elevator.
Stainless steel control panel.
