Killion KL-100

1″ 24:1 extruder.
Unit has a three (3) zone electrically heated,
air cooled, top vented, and plugged barrel
at a 42″ centerline height.
Gearbox is driven by a 3 HP D/C motor
with SCR control. Temperature control panel has
four (4) zones of Eurotherm model 808 digital controllers.
230/1/60. 52 FLA.
Gravity feed hopper on feed throat.
6″ Killion sheet die is mounted on the extruder discharge.
Die discharges onto a Wayne sheet take-off
having three 6″ face x nominal 8″ diameter rolls mounted
in a vertical arrangement.
Top and middle roll are chrome while the bottom roll is rubber.
All three rolls are cored for cooling and the top
and bottom roll are pneumatically actuated.
Rolls are driven by a 1 HP D/C motor through gearbox
via chain and sprockets.
Includes 6″ pull roll stand with ½ HP D/C motor through
a gear reducer drive system.
Controls are mounted on the frame.
