IFR Aeroflex TCAS-201 TCAS Ramp Test Set Part Number: TCAS201

The Aeroflex / IFR TCAS-201 simulates the airborne environment necessary for verification/certification of TCAS installations performing many of the required tests for Supplemental Type Certification (STC) during initial installation and subsequent routine maintenance.



The TCAS-201 includes the capability to monitor TCAS interrogations (displaying decoded information/communication data) and generating ATCRBS or Mode S replies that simulate threat aircraft for bearing accuracy checks.



Programming flexibility of the TCAS-201 allows the operator to exercise and generate Traffic Advisory (TA) and Resolution Advisory (RA) alerts.



Ruggedized construction designed for the conditions encountered in the ramp environment.
Non-volatile memory for storing up to ten user-programmed scenarios.
Squitter generation with selectable squitter address.
Automatic power shutdown after approximately 15 minutes of non-use when ac power is not connected.
LCD Display with automatic light sensing illumination control.
Switchable TCAS I (no P4 width detection) or TCAS II (normal P4 width detection) operation.
Soft-press key controls for easy operation.
Built-In-Test (BIT) for confidence testing and fault isolation.
