GE Voluson i Portable Ultrasound
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
The GE Voluson i Portable Ultrasound provides superior ultrasound imaging despite
its compact and lightweight design.
It carries various image enhancement functions that work together to provide reliable
and accurate diagnostic images.
Its TruScan architecture, for example, gathers raw data during actual scanning
and allows virtual rescans even after the patient has left the facility.
Its Speckle Reduction Imaging II uses a nonlinear diffusion filtering technique
that reduces speckles inherent to ultrasound images.
It also uses CrossXBeam technology, which combines three or more frame
from different angles to create a single image, improving border definition
and enhancing accuracy. In addition,
its Automatic Tissue Optimization applies enhancement to the image based upon
a specific region within the display to help in identifying anatomy with precision.
It also offer easy device operation with its alphanumeric QWERTY keyboard
with ergonomic hard key layout, and backlit function so it can still be
used efficient even in dimly-lit environment. It is also quick and easy
to store diagnostic data and images with its 80GB internal hard drive,
or into a central database of a local network.
