Senographe 700 & 800T Screening and Diagnostic Mammography Systems
Continuing the Tradition of Mammographic Leadership
As the pioneer in breast imaging for the last two decades,
GE has continued to be a leader in mammographic innovation,
introducing a number of technological breakthroughs -
from the first rotating anode to the application of rhodium for
enhanced image quality. In the process, Senographe has
become the recognized leader, with the world's largest installed
base of mammography systems.
The Senographe 700T and 800T systems both demonstrate the
proven, superior image quality and minimized dose that
are hallmarks of patented Senographe technology.
AOP--GE's exclusive
AOP, Automatic Optimization of Parameters, the first of
its kind to offer a significant advance in technique selection.
In addition to optimizing image quality,
AOP has the added advantage of taking the guesswork out of
parameter selection. As a result, the technologist can
spend more time with the patient, and less with the system.
Throughput-Enhancing, Ease of Use
Specially designed to provide nearly effortless operation.
A lightweight arm, rotating 180 to speed patient positioning.
A cassette detection systems.
Changing Bucky sizes extremely easy--it slides right on.
With fully integrated column, console and protective screen and
a small footprint, the 800T are extremely compact.
The 800T provides a digital display of parameters,
including rotation angle, compression force,
and breast thickness.
Motorized vertical column easily accommodates patients in
wheelchairs.
High-performance tube- a GE Senographe exclusive
The Gabbay tube, named after Emile Gabbay, features a
patented vanadium-enriched molybdenum track to
stabilize x-ray output, reduces exposure times and
motion blurring.
And it features focal spots so small and powerful that
they produce magnification views of exceptional quality.
The 800T equips you with both a molybdenum filter and
a rhodium filter-a filter that produces a slightly higher x-ray
spectrum, for appreciable improvements in penetration of
the dense tissues found in younger women,
as well as those who've undergone radiation treatment or
hormone therapy.
