GE Optima 660
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
The GE Optima 660 is a whole-body computed tomography (CT) scanner designed
to obtain high-resolution images over a wide range of applications.
The energy-efficient Optima 660 has a compact footprint, modular design,
is capable of low dose imaging and is designed to be scalable from 32 to 128 slices.
There are many options available with this high-end imaging system.
High-quality images are obtained by using GE's innovative ASiR reconstruction technology.
It is also equipped with a Dose Check technology that helps reduce X-Ray dose delivered
to the patient.
This system consumes about sixty percent less energy than the older generation
of CT scanners.
The GE Optima 660 premium CT scanner is also designed to have
a reduced overall weight which can decrease the transportation costs while
its modular design addresses refurbishment and end-of-life recycling.
These and other features allow the Optima 660 to improve the scanning time,
accuracy, enhance patient comfort , improve overall workflow efficiency,
and decrease the dose received. In turn, these advantages allow the CT scanner
to be used for non-invasive procedures covering several applications including
but not limited to cardiac, neuro, oncology, and CT angiography.
