The POWERFLOW ULTRA Nitrogen Wave Soldering System from ERSA
represents the ultimate solution for processing complex assemblies
using lead-free alloys. It is based on new design concepts, which
incorporate numerous intelligent and future oriented solutions to
present problems. A highlight is the award-winning ERSASOFT 5,
which is the basic software for all Ersa soldering machines and
lays the foundation for industry 4.0 topics.
The basic system contains following configuration:
• Through the modular platform design, the machine can be
configured as required by the process and the throughput necessary.
• Chain conveyor suitable for ERSA solder pallets 500 mm width
(optional finger conveyor for pallet less conveyance)
Clear tunnel height above top of chain (max clearance) 80 mm
• Expressly designed for the use of lead-free solder alloy,
suitable for the use of VOC free fluxes, water based fluxes
• ERSA spray flux system with standard spraying nozzle and
supply cabinet for the storage of a 10 l flux container
The software permits programming of a custom made spray pattern,
based on the layout of an individual PCB
• Tunnel concept assures minimal rest oxygen values in the soldering
area and an intelligent heat management system and
excellent thermal stability
• Preheat length can be configured as required by the process and
the throughput necessary (from 1800 mm up to 2400 mm)
Top side preheater are optionally available
An heater (20 mm) is installed between the pre-heating module and
the solder pot, which allows the PCB to maintain its temperature
during transport and thus to be soldered at the optimum temperature
• Solder module in lead-free execution
Solder pot manufactured from high grade stainless steel, enamelled.
Solder volume 595 kg lead-free (respectively 715 kg SnPb)
All components emerged in the solder manufactured from high grade
stainless steel, and subsequently surface treated
Conveyor angle fixed at 7°
Dual solder bath or exchange solder bath to process two different
alloys are optionally available
