Dilo Di-Loom OD-II 12.5 Hyperpunch Needle Loom
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
1250mm working width, with infeed and exit rollers.
Feed system by a pair of polished feed rolls in free standing frame, pressure roller pneumatically operated for easy threading of material and fine adjustment of the nip, driven by AC-S gear motor.
Elliptical needle beam kinematics for lightweight felts and highest throughput speed up to 2600 max stroke frequency depending upon fiber parameters and area weight.
Downpunch operation by 2 needle boards 200mm wide with 2 x ~6667 needles/meter working width.
2 sets of needle boards included.
Carbon fibre reinforced composite material needle beam has 30mm vertical stroke or 10mm horizontal stroke. Installed on vibration dampers without foundation.
Automatic central lubrication system for eccentric & main bearings, lubricant drainer in module housing, includes pressure & temperature control of eccentric bearings.
Electrical: 480v & 110v control.
Drives: Multi-motor AC drive for inverter operation, speed infinitely adjustable, maintenance free, reversing movement without limit switches.
Control cabinets include PLC. Control desk with SPS Siemens S7 and MP 270.
All line components are synchronized: start/stop, line speed, emergency stop. Operating manuals included.
The loom was built in 2004 and then completely updated in 2013 when sold to a US university. It was never installed and is still on the original shipping skids in NEW condition.
The HyperPunch model has an elliptical needle beam drive.
In contrast to the conventionally used drive, the needles do not hinder the material movement during penetration but move instead horizontally in the material flow direction.
This movement results in less draft within the needlefelt and thus can improve homogeneity and surface quality.
In addition, the Hyperpunch drive allows notably higher production speeds.
This model (HSC) has a fixed horizontal stroke determined by process requirement and a maximum throughput speed of up to 150 m/min
