CorPath GRX IR Robot
AMERICA North (USA-Canada-Mexico)
Manufacturer Corindus
CorPath GRX helps to create a safer work environment for
interventionalists by allowing operators to
perform procedures from a radiation-shielded workspace.
With automated procedural movements and
precise anatomical measurements,
the robotic system also helps operators navigate
complex anatomies more consistently and predictably,
aids in selection of the appropriate stent,
and ensures accuracy in device-positioning.
Using CorPath GRX allows physicians to participate in
cutting-edge clinical innovation,
enhancing their reputation and that of their institution.
The CorPath GRX system is a robotic platform designed for
interventional physicians.
It is intended for the use in remote delivery and
manipulation of guidewires,
rapid exchange (RX) devices and
guide catheters during peripheral vascular intervention (PVI) procedures.
The system consists of an Extended Reach Arm,
Robotic Drive, Control Console and an ergonomic chair for
the operator.
The system comes with the Rotate on Retract (RoR) feature,
which is a procedural automated movement.
Robotic-assisted intervention enables precise measurement of
anatomy and device positioning with
the added benefit of radiation protection for
the physician and the potential to
reduce radiation exposure for staff and patients.
