2” Berlyn extruder having a 30:1 L/D ratio with
a six (6) zone electrically heated, non-vented,
both air- and water-cooled barrel at
approximately a 42″ center line height.
Gearbox is a Koellmann size PEZS 312,
has a reduction ratio of 19.95:1 and
is rated to 88 HP at a service factor of 1.0.
Gearbox is belt driven by a 40 HP D/C motor with
Allen Bradley model 1395 SCR.
Oversized water cool feed throat has a 4” x 9” entrance.
Extruder is caster mounted.
Appears to have high heat capability.
Caster mounted control panel with fourteen (14) zones of
control with Allen Bradley Panel-Mate touch screen
control mounted an articulating arm.
Includes stainless steel gravity feed hopper.
