4 Ethanol Plant for Sale.

Producing 96.5% Ethanol. Raw Material: lactose. Plant Capacity: Raw Material 2.2-2.5 million liters/day. Output 30-38,000 Liters/day of 96.5% Ethanol.

Products: A. Yeast Propagation (2X20,000-litre vessels (X2)) B. Fermentation - All ancillary equipment, including pumps, valves, flow plates, a UHT cooler, a CIP Kitchen, and a yeast inoculation system. (Fermentation Tanks are too large to ship.) C. Distillation Columns - Beer Stripper (2005) – Waterfall, Rectifying Column – Bubble Trays, Head Stripping Column - Bubble Trays, Includes condensers, heat exchangers, pumps etc.

1. The plant was shut down in Dec 2021.
2. The plant does not include services as these are site-supplied, and other processing plants will remain on-site.
3. The plant was initially built in the 1980s and has undergone upgrades and changes over the years. The company had an annual maintenance plan, and the plant is in good condition.
4. Products come into one of two raw material tanks, which are cooled before routed to the first fermenter. As the product is fed into the fermenter, yeast and air are injected into it. The process is continuous fermentation. The product goes into the bottom of the first fermenter and flows out at a constant rate, depending on the processing capacity. The plant is set out to run for 16 hours to allow for fermentation.
5. Beer is fed from the beer tanks to the columns, where ethanol is separated and transferred to storage tanks.
