SINGLE WORSTED CARD • Type 0794 - for any fineness of wool from 16 to 40 microns.

It consists of:
- Automatic, electromagnetic hopper feeder with weigh pan.
- Feed lattice with top pressure lattice.
- Special entry section with porcupine type feed rolls with steel spikes fitted in bronze rings.
-Licker-in group with first burr clearer; spreading roller and 2 transport rolls.
-Breast diameter 1508 mm. with 5 workers and 5 strippers.
- 2nd. burr clearer expelling the burrs and vegetables to the side of the card.
- 3rd. burr clearer expelling the burrs and vegetables to the side of the card.
-Tray to collect trash and very short fibres and to expell them to the side of the card.
- Carding part with cylinder diameter 1508 mm.; doffer diameter 1278 mm.; 5 workers and 5 strippers.
-Calender roll and delivery apron.
-Can coiler for cans diameter 1000x1200 mm. high (standard size) or collecting conveyor apron.
-Drive by means of an underground, rigid shaft with reduction gear boxes of tapered gears in oil bath.
- Main drive motor of 11 KW.
-Motor of 0,55 KW for 1st. burr clearer.
- Motor of 2,2 KW driving the 2nd. and 3rd. burr clearer.
- 1,3 KW motor tor hopper feeder.
The worsted card is entirely covered with rigid metallic wires, excepted for the workers and strippers of the carding part (that are flexible clothed) and excepted for the brush clothed rolls.
The card is designed to be installed over a pit.
It is equipped with interlocked guards to prevent accidents.
The card has been designed to process with the same wires wool of any fineness and length.
