STRAIGHTENER STANDARD FEATURES
HARDENED GEAR DRIVEN STEEL ROLLERS: Rugged straightening and pinch rolls are all specially hardened and surface ground to exacting tolerances. We use only precision needle bearings for all roller shafts.

SWING-OPEN TOP: A swing-open top for all straightener models make loading or roll cleaning process easy. A spring-loaded counterbalance feature keeps the top in the up position when it’s unlocked and raised. Exact roller adjustment settings are maintained through the loading process.

SIX-WAY UPPER ROLLER ADJUSTMENT: The patented platen design for the upper bank of rollers on the SB straighteners gives you a way to make six different roller position adjustments. The position setting for rollers is displayed on a handy indicator on the side of the platen. This unique adjustment system provides capabilities to straighten material with severe coil set without over straightening when mild coil set is encountered. It also enables you to curve exiting material up or down to suit your application needs.

PARALLEL ROLL ADJUSTMENT: Straightener induced camber can be greatly reduced by an eccentric adjustment for pinch rolls. This factory set precision adjustment can be changed in the field if required.
